My name is John Lusumpa, an IT Professional with a passion for designing and developing software solutions. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Zambia and several certifications, including Cisco IT Essentials and CCNA Routing and Switching, I am confident in my ability to deliver outstanding results in any IT-related project.
Over the past several years, I have gained valuable experience in software development and IT operations while working with industry leading companies such as Airtel Zambia and Cellulant Zambia. My experience includes developing and maintaining high-traffic applications, designing new payment products, and working with business teams in implementing new initiatives. I also have experience managing a team of IT professionals and partner engagement to ensure the smooth operation of services.
My technical expertise includes proficiency in PHP, Java, C#.NET, Visual Basic.NET, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bash, Python, Flutter (Dart), as well as experience working with databases such as MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle, MariaDB,PrestoDB and DB2. Additionally, I am well-versed in version control principles using Git and have a solid grasp of Object-Oriented Programming concepts.
